nols98 on Kids and Summer: Summer can be tough as we parents have to juggle schedules so much more than even during the school year. Our 8-year-old goes to camps and more camps -- but stuff that he wouldn't usually try. Though we try not to wear our son out with too much. We always schedule a week or several days at the beach during which he can relax and do kid stuff ... whatever that may be.
